JOB TITLE:
iSeries Web Services Engineer
PRIMARY OBJECTIVE/SCOPE:
- Participate in definition of business requirements
- Implement and demo RPG-XML Suite (www.rpg-xml.com) within Krengel Technology client base
- Define/develop XML web service solutions from RPG on the IBM System i server
DETAILED POSITION DESCRIPTION:
RPG-XML Suite is a product developed by Krengel Technology that allows RPG programmers the ability to create XML web services on the IBM iSeries server. We are in need of a driven, technical-oriented individual with an existing understanding of RPG and XML or the desire to learn more about RPG and the technology of web services. This position will report directly to Krengel Technology's Senior Developer and provide support to prospects and existing clients who desire to implement RPG-XML Suite within their business environments.
Previous experience in programming languages such as RPG, XML, and Java are helpful but not mandatory. More important than previous experience is an attitude that desires to grow and contribute daily to the success of a growing technology firm. This position may be performed remotely for qualified candidates.
